Collapsible Details & FAQ
1. Free Shipping Coverage
We are proud to offer Free Shipping to customers across the contiguous United States.
- Please note: Free shipping does NOT apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, or the Northern Mariana Islands.
2. Scheduling Your Delivery
All saunas are shipped via LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight.
- Appointment Required: Prior to delivery, the freight carrier will contact you via text message, phone call, or email to schedule a delivery appointment. Please ensure the phone number provided at checkout is accurate.
- Strict Scheduling Policy: Once your delivery appointment is confirmed and the sauna is loaded onto the delivery truck, the delivery time cannot be changed.
- Storage Fees: If you must reschedule or delay the delivery after the freight is in transit or loaded, you will be responsible for any resulting storage fees charged by the local logistics hub. (These fees vary by terminal and will be billed to you at cost, with the official receipt provided).
3. Curbside Delivery & Handling (Standard Delivery)
Our standard delivery is Curbside Delivery. The driver will unload the heavy wooden crate(s) at the curb nearest to your driveway.
- Moving Your Sauna: The crates are heavy. If you did not purchase our White Glove Service, you will need a forklift to move the crate, OR we highly recommend unpacking the crate at the curb and carrying the individual sauna components into your backyard piece by piece. This is the easiest and most manageable method for standard delivery.
- Note: Drivers are not authorized to move the crates into your garage, backyard, or home under standard delivery.
4. White Glove Service (Backyard Delivery)
If you purchased our White Glove Service, your sauna will be moved from the curb directly to your designated backyard location.
- Action Required: Once your freight delivery date is confirmed with the logistics company, you must email us immediately so we can coordinate the local White Glove installation/moving team in advance.
5. Crucial: Inspection Upon Delivery
Your sauna is carefully packaged in a sturdy wooden crate. However, transit damage can occasionally occur.
- Inspect Before You Sign: When the truck arrives, inspect the exterior of the wooden crate thoroughly.
- Refuse if Damaged: If you notice severe damage to the crate or if the crate is soaking wet from rain, REFUSE THE DELIVERY immediately and note the damage on the driver's delivery receipt.
- Liability: Once you sign the delivery receipt without noting any damage, you are legally acknowledging that the sauna was received in perfect condition. We cannot be held liable for crate damage reported after a clean signature is provided.
6. Unboxing & Parts Warranty (30-Day Policy)
- 7-Day Unboxing: We ask that you open the crate and inspect the internal components within one week of receiving your sauna.
- 30-Day Reporting Window: If you find any missing parts or concealed damage, you must report it to us within 30 days of your delivery date.
- Expiration: Any claims made after 30 days will not be processed, as they exceed the freight carrier's claim period.
7. Outdoor Sauna Installation Care
If you encounter delays during the assembly of your outdoor sauna or need to pause the installation process overnight, you must cover the unassembled parts with a waterproof tarp. It is your responsibility to prevent rain or moisture from damaging the raw interior wood before the roof is fully installed.
1. Limited Warranty Overview
We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our saunas. We offer a Limited Warranty to the original purchaser, ensuring that your sauna is free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Please note: This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser and the original installation location.
2. Wood & Structural Components: [3-Year] Limited Warranty
The wooden cabin and structural components of your sauna are covered against structural defects and manufacturing anomalies for a period of [3] years from the date of delivery.
- Understanding Natural Wood: Our saunas are crafted from natural premium wood. By nature, wood will expand, contract, and change color over time due to temperature fluctuations and weather exposure. Minor aesthetic imperfections, such as hairline cracks, splits, knots, or natural color variations, are completely normal. These do not affect the structural integrity or performance of the sauna and are NOT considered manufacturing defects.
3. Heaters & Electrical Components: [1-Year] Limited Warranty
Sauna heaters, control panels, LED lights, and other electrical components are covered under a [1-year] warranty against manufacturing defects.
- Strict Installation Requirement: All electrical components and hardwired heaters MUST be installed by a certified and licensed electrician. Failure to use a licensed electrician will immediately VOID the warranty on all electrical components. You may be asked to provide an electrician’s receipt when filing a claim.
4. What is NOT Covered (Warranty Exclusions)
This warranty does not cover damages or failures resulting from:
- Improper Installation or Assembly: Damage caused by incorrect assembly, foundation settling, or failure to follow the installation manual.
- Weather & Environmental Damage: Damage to outdoor saunas caused by extreme weather (e.g., heavy snow, hail, hurricanes), natural disasters, or failure to properly seal, cover, or maintain the exterior wood.
- Misuse & Neglect: Damage from improper use, lack of regular maintenance, or using harsh chemical cleaners.
- Modifications: Any unauthorized alterations or modifications made to the sauna structure or electrical system.
- Commercial Use: This warranty applies to residential use only. Commercial or public use voids this standard warranty.
5. Labor & Replacement Parts
Under this warranty, our sole obligation is to repair or replace the defective parts. We will provide the replacement parts free of charge, but the warranty DOES NOT cover labor costs. The customer is responsible for any labor, installation, or troubleshooting costs associated with replacing the parts.
6. How to File a Warranty Claim
If you believe your sauna has a defect covered under this warranty, please contact our support team immediately.
- Required Information: You must provide your original order number, a detailed description of the issue, and clear photos or videos showing the defect.
- Our team will review your claim and work with you to provide the necessary replacement parts or solutions as quickly as possible.
1. Assembly & Installation
Q: How difficult is it to assemble the sauna? How many people are required?
A: Our saunas are designed with the DIY homeowner in mind. They arrive in pre-fabricated, modular panels that connect together using simple interlocking systems or screws.
- Timeframe: Assembly typically takes 1 to 2 hours for two adults.
- Tools Needed: You will generally only need basic hand tools, such as a cordless drill, a level, a rubber mallet, and a screwdriver. We provide a comprehensive, step-by-step assembly manual with every order.
Q: Do I need a licensed electrician to install the heater?
A: Yes. Most traditional sauna heaters (typically 4.5kW and above) require a dedicated 220V–240V hardwired electrical connection.
- To ensure your safety, comply with local building codes, and keep your electrical warranty valid, the heater and all electrical components must be installed by a certified and licensed electrician. Standard 110V household outlets are generally not sufficient for traditional sauna heaters.
Q: What type of foundation or surface is required for an outdoor sauna?
A: Your outdoor sauna must be placed on a firm, flat, and level surface.
- Recommended Surfaces: A poured concrete pad, concrete pavers, a reinforced wooden or composite deck, or compacted crushed stone/gravel.
- What to Avoid: Never place your sauna directly on bare dirt or grass, as ground moisture will absorb into the wood over time and cause premature decay or settling.
2. Operation & Usage
Q: How long does it take for the sauna to heat up?
A: On average, a traditional sauna takes about 30 to 45 minutes to reach an optimal bathing temperature of 150°F to 180°F (65°C to 82°C).
- Note: Heat-up times can vary depending on the ambient outdoor temperature, the size of the sauna, and whether you are using an electric heater or a wood-burning stove.
Q: Can I pour water on the heater rocks to create steam?
A: Yes! Pouring water over the hot sauna rocks is a traditional way to generate bursts of steam (known as löyly) and increase humidity.
- Best Practice: Use only clean, fresh tap water. Pour the water slowly using a sauna ladle. Never use chlorinated pool water or saltwater, as this can damage the heater elements and void your warranty.
3. Product & Maintenance
Q: Why do I see minor cracks or knots in the wood of my new sauna?
A: Our saunas are crafted from premium natural wood. Because wood is a natural living material, it expands and contracts in response to heat and humidity fluctuations.
- Hairline cracks, small splits, and natural knot variations are completely normal. They are purely cosmetic, do not affect the structural integrity or insulation of the sauna, and are not considered manufacturing defects.
Q: How do I clean and maintain my sauna?
A: Saunas require very little ongoing maintenance if treated properly:
- Interior: After each use, simply wipe down the benches and backrests with a damp cloth and leave the sauna door slightly open to let it air dry. Never use paint, varnish, or sealants on the interior wood, as these can release toxic fumes when heated.
- Exterior (Outdoor Saunas): We recommend treating the exterior wood with a UV-inhibiting stain, wood sealer, or natural wood oil once a year to protect it from the elements and prevent weathering.
4. Shipping & Delivery
Q: How will my sauna be delivered?
A: We offer Free Curbside Delivery across the contiguous United States (excluding AK, HI, PR, and US territories). The freight carrier will call you in advance to schedule a delivery appointment. The driver will unload the heavy crate(s) at the curb nearest to your driveway.
- Need help moving it to your backyard? We offer a paid White Glove Service upgrade at checkout, where our team will move the components from the curb directly to your backyard assembly area.
Q: What should I do if my sauna arrives damaged?
A: Please inspect the exterior of the crate thoroughly upon arrival. If you see severe damage or if the crate is soaking wet, refuse the delivery and note the damage on the delivery receipt. For concealed damage or missing parts, you must contact us within 30 days of delivery with photos and your order number so we can send replacement parts promptly.
