A qualified electrician is required for all electrical connections. Electrical installation must be performed by a licensed professional in accordance with applicable local, state, and national electrical codes.

To ensure a smooth installation experience, please add White Glove Installation service at the time of your sauna purchase.

If installation service is requested after your sauna purchase has been completed, it will be charged at the full listed price and may not qualify for any promotional discounts.

Important Electrical Notice for Steam Sauna Models

For NorveLiving steam sauna models equipped with heaters:

Electrical connection and heater wiring are NOT included in either Standard Installation or White Glove Installation services.

All electrical work must be completed by a licensed and qualified electrician according to local, state, and national electrical requirements.

NorveLiving does not provide electrical services and is not responsible for:

Electrical connection or wiring
Electrical inspections or permits
Improper installation performed by unauthorized personnel
Damage or safety issues caused by incorrect electrical work

Unauthorized or improper electrical modifications may create safety hazards, violate local codes, and may void your product warranty.

By purchasing installation services, you acknowledge that arranging proper electrical connection by a licensed electrician is the customer’s responsibility.

Installation Requirements

Before installation, please ensure your installation area meets the following requirements:

Installation Location

Place the sauna on a flat, level, and weight-bearing surface
Suitable surfaces include:
- Concrete slab
- Deck
- Properly installed pavers
Keep the sauna away from direct water sources such as showers, bathtubs, or pools
Maintain proper ventilation and access space

Required Clearance

Minimum 2 inches (5 cm) clearance on the sides and rear
Minimum 12 inches (30 cm) clearance above the sauna roof

Electrical Requirements

Ensure the available power supply matches the voltage and amperage requirements listed on your product page
Provide an accessible power connection for maintenance and safety reset access
Plug the sauna directly into the appropriate wall outlet
Do not use extension cords or power strips
Ensure the outlet is properly grounded

Before First Use

After installation, we recommend completing the following steps before your first sauna session:

Run the sauna empty for 30–60 minutes
Keep the sauna door slightly open during the first heating cycle
Allow any new-material odors to dissipate before use

This initial heating cycle helps ensure proper operation and provides a more comfortable first experience.

White Glove Installation Preparation

If you have purchased White Glove Installation, please prepare your home before delivery:

Ensure clear access pathways through hallways and doorways
Remove obstacles along the delivery route
Confirm stairway access if applicable
Verify ceiling height and door clearance requirements before delivery

Additional access requirements may apply depending on your home layout.

DIY Installation Guidelines

If you choose to install your NorveLiving sauna yourself, please follow these important guidelines.

Assembly Safety

Installation is recommended with two adults
Follow the provided step-by-step installation manual
Do not force panels or components into position
Ensure all panels and connections are securely assembled before operation
Keep children and pets away from the installation area

Electrical Safety

Verify that your electrical supply matches the sauna specifications
Connect the sauna only to a properly grounded outlet
Never use extension cords or power strips
Do not modify electrical components

Modifications & Repairs

For your safety and to protect your warranty:

Do not modify the sauna structure or electrical components
Do not attempt unauthorized repairs
Do not install damaged components
